Shri. Bhau Maharaj Niturkar was born on 15th June 1954 at Nitur in Latur District of Maharashtra, India in the holy vedic family. As a child Bhau Maharaj was very intelligent. He had a very good grasping power, owing to which he was able to learn Sanskrit language at a early age. He also learnt a lot of Hindu litureature and started chanting Veda Matras (verses from the Holy Vedas) at the early age. As per the Hindu religion norms, these verses can only be chanted after the Thread ceremony, usually after the age of 8 years. However, owning to Maharaj’s capabilities, hi father Vinayak Deo and mother Avantikabai, performed this ceremony at the age of 7 years. Lord Pandurang himself graced this occasion, to bless this exceptional child.
In 1984, Bhau Maharaj got Diksha from Guru Gunda Narayan Maharaj and followed it by Sidhayoga (Mahayoga) from his guru, Shri Datta Maharaj Kavishwar from Pune.
Kavishwar Maharaj, instructed him to give “Pravachan” (Holy Preching) on the “Bhagawat”, which teaches the art of living. The Bhagawat is holy book of memories of Lord Krishna. Bhau Maharaj has delivered over 80 pravachanas throughout India on Bhagawat in Marathi and Hindi languages. His key subject is Mahayoga, along with many other spiritual ideologies. His preaching is always full of simplicity, yet has lot of knowledge. One can easily find a way out of their problems through his Pravachan.
Shripad Shrivallabha, Lord Datta, has blessed him. The great auspicious work of writing “Shripad Shrivallabha Charitra”, has been done by him, under lord Shripad Shrivallabha’s guidance. This book has been a guiding light to devotees ever since.
Apart from his spiritual aspects, Bhau Maharaj leads a very simple life like a normal person.
He thus leads a very balanced life, setting an example for us to follow. His life is full of love, positiveness, and success due to his simplicity. Bhau Maharaj is respected by his followers throughout India for his spiritual thoughts leadership, politeness and purity.

Bhau Maharaj has been honored by India’s Ex-President Mr. Shankardayal Sharma Twice, for his enormous vedic knowledge. Parampoojya Shri Shankaracharya of Karveer peeth and Kanchikamkoty have honoured Shri Bhavu maharaj. Many devotes of India have been inspired by his more than 1000 preaches on various spiritual subjects.
He has been conducting a spiritual yatra (tours) for last Five years in deepest forest of “Kardali”. People experience the most spiritual happiness along with him.
